1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LicenseReminder ("Service"), operated at licensereminder.org, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

LicenseReminder provides license expiry tracking and reminder notifications (email and SMS) for contractors and trade professionals. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service.

4. Plans and Billing

  • Free Plan: Up to 2 licenses, email reminders only.
  • Pro Plan ($8/month USD): Unlimited licenses, SMS + email reminders, single user.
  • Business Plan ($26/month USD): Everything in Pro, up to 10 team members, owner dashboard.

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time through your account or the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful purposes
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts
  • Interfere with the proper operation of the Service
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee that reminders will be delivered on time or at all. You remain solely responsible for renewing your licenses on time. LicenseReminder is a convenience tool and does not replace your obligation to track license renewals.

7. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL LICENSEREMINDER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF INCOME, FINES, OR PENALTIES RESULTING FROM EXPIRED LICENSES. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account by contacting support@licensereminder.org.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
