Common HVAC Credentials in Ontario

• Gas Fitter (G2/G3): Certified through Skilled Trades Ontario — annual renewal
• Refrigeration Mechanic (313A): Certificate of Qualification — annual renewal
• Sheet Metal Worker (308A): Certificate of Qualification — annual renewal
• TSSA Registration: Required for gas work — separate renewal cycle

TSSA (Technical Standards & Safety Authority)

If you perform gas fitting work, you must maintain a valid TSSA registration in addition to your trade certificate. TSSA registration typically renews every 3 years and requires proof of continued practice.
